Hey guys, this is my first post. I will be going to Disney for my 7th time during the Mardi Gras holidays. I already bought my tickets for the Pirate & Princess Party. Anyone on here ever been to this before. If so, I would like as many details about it as possible and how was it?

Thanks!

P and P party is a great time. Make sure you dress up as it really makes the night even more fun. The fireworks are out of this world but the parade is horrible. Walking around and getting the candy/necklaces is mildly entertaining, but the other entertainment offerings are pretty pleasing.

P&P parties are so much fun. I have been to 3, and I plan on going to a couple more. I highly recommend seeing the parade, and especially the fireworks. They are amazing! Have fun at the party!

Is there a schedule of things to do? Are all of the rides open? If so, how long is the wait usually? I heard they give out necklaces and pretend treasure. Is this true? I also saw something about a treasure map.

Most of the rides are open. I know JC, CoP, and the train are closed. Yes, there are spots where they hand out chocolates and bead necklaces. And the park map is decorated like a treasure map.

By the way, great job today Giants! I was rooting for your team big time. Eli is from this area and I got to see him play in HS. I also can't stand the Cowboys.

Pirates and Princess Party question

I also have a question regarding the pirate and princess party. I am going to Disney World for the first week of Feb (Mardi Gras week). We did not purchase hoppers this time. Can I go to Epcot on Tuesday during the day and attend the pirate and princess party that evening? I know it is at an additional cost, but I want to know if I will be able to get into Magic Kingdom if I was at Epcot earlier since I don't have a hopper. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Yes. Your P&PP ticket includes admission to the park. You can arrive any time after 4PM.
