Did a search but couldn't find an answer, sorry if I missed it. Lucky enough to be going on a 4-night Bahama cruise on the Dream in September. Is Pirate night always the third night? The reason I ask is that for our first and only cruise we were at Palo on the regular dining for Animators Palate and only ate their on Pirate night...would like to make sure we get Palo and the regular menu at each of the other rotation restaurants. Thanks!

Do people dress up for this? Are bandanas provided. We picked up eye patches, just wondering if I should think of getting anything else before,

They do give you bandanas. Oh yes, some people go all-out in full cosplay garb. It's a very festive night. We typically wear pirate-themed tshirts (Goonies, etc.), shorts, and keep it festive. I have skull & crossbones ribbon I can tie in my hair. It's a lot of fun. My all-time favorite was @Tiggerfanatic last September. She told me the look she went for was "pirate on vacation". It was awesome!

Great! We are already taking costumes for MNSSHP, so I didn't want to lug two costumes, but tshirt/hair bow I can do and a shirt and eye patch for hubby :)

Yep! Anything you can find that's pirate-y, go for it. It's really a laid-back, fun, festive evening. That's my favorite part about it. I love seeing people all dressed up. And if you have the time, spend some time people-watching all the women fawning over meeting Jack Sparrow. It's funny! Love love love our matching Goonies Never Say Die shirts!

Our first cruise we dressed up in Pirate Costume with our kids and they loved it. However, if it is just us 2 adults cruising, we typically leave the costumes at home :) I actually like doing Palo or Remy on Pirate night if it's just my husband and I- gets us a quiet dinner but still out in time for the deck party and fireworks.
