Pioneer Hall

Does anyone know if you can drive all the way to Pioneer Hall? I recall the last time we went (about 2 years ago or so) we were able to drive only so far and then had to take the bus. I'm wondering if it is possible to drive to the closer parking lot near the hall.

I just did this a few weeks ago and no you had to drive to a parking lot and then bus down to Pioneer Hall. Another nice option is to take the launch from Magic Kingdom which drops you off a very short walk to Pioneer Hall. Belle

I concur, you can only drive to the parking lot. We did the HDD (Hoop Dee Doo) in May while we were staying at OKW.

We drove, since I did not know how else we could get back to OKW in a timely fashion.

We attended the 2nd show of the evening.

I was surprised when the show got over and there were 'resort' busses waiting to pick up people. These busses were right next to the busses we got on to go back to the parking lot. I saw busses for CB and PO.

I guess you can ask at Guest Services if this is common or was it just an exception.

I have done the HDD both when resort busses were provided ad when they were not!!!! Usually when you make your ressies they can tell you which it will be. Unfortunately in all cases getting to the HDD involved either the launch to Ft Wilderness from the MK or driving a bussing it down to the HDD. I havent ever seen a bus from a resort TO the HDD ever.
