I wish they had better food offering across all parks. Quick service options in Disneyland include enchiladas, sweet corn, Asian selections.... In Florida it's burgers, pizzas and chicken fingers.... EVERYWHERE! There is nothing very creative at WDW. I would love to see a greater selection of food choices.... Tex mex, Asian, fresh sandwiches.

My favourite quick service is Cosmic Rays - the rotisserie chicken with mash is a pleasant change from French fries and it's nice to have soup.

Yeah, I'm a DL quick service person taking her first trip to WDW next year... I've noticed the options are quite different.

That's a bit inaccurate, I think. That might be true in MK and DHS, but Epcot has a huge variety, as do many of the quick service spots in the resorts and DTD.
Even MK has rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans at Cosmic Rays for those who want a little healthier meal. There's also the unique waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow, and of course, they now have BOG for lunch. DHS has Asian salads at Backlot. Of course, there is tons of variety at EP.

Disneyland does indeed have better (and more expensive) quick service on the whole. But Florida does have plenty of non-burger/pizza/chicken finger options. Even at MK, Cosmic Rays has Rotisserie Chicken and ribs, Be Our Guest and Gaston's Tavern have different options, you can get lobster roll at CHH, etc. At DAK, Yak & Yeti to go, Flame Tree, and other have good choices. DHS is a little light, but the burgers at ABC Commissary and Backlot Express at least have some variety to them. And as for Epcot...you can get whatever you like, and it annoys me how busy Electric Umbrella is with all the other better options!

I don't plan on spending money for table service, so quick service it is, even if it's mostly burgers and chicken tenders (hopefully some salad as well). Don't worry, I'll survive haha.
It'll only be burgers and chicken tenders if that's what you choose. A 3 minute walk will always find you something else.

I forgot to include pizza and hot dogs. Just looking at Magic Kingdom alone, there isn't much of a variety. DHS, as well. Animal Kingdom and EPCOT look to have more variety, which is great.

DHS is the worst for variety, although there's a few dishes at ABC Commissary, and a few things at the Fairfax Farmer's Market (can't remember what it's really called). MK is no problem -- CHH and Cosmic Ray's have non-standard fare.

Magic kingdom actually offers a good variety. Fish and shrimp at harbor house, burgers and chicken at pecos, hot dogs at Casey, pizza at Pinocchio, salads at cosmic rays plus all the little offerings like shrimp egg rolls or waffle sandwiches.

Dhs is the park that struggles because all the other shops tend to close early besides abc commissary if you want quick service.

I agree about the variety, but the options that are provided don't sound bad at all, which is good.

I must admit... I'm guilty of being frustrated by QS offerings, especially at MK. But you make a couple good points that there are at least a couple options, if you know where to look.

It pales in comparison to DL, though. I just love their selections available all over both parks.

It's a bit odd to me. They're all under the "one parks" banner. You would think something like food choices would be more uniform.

Instead, seemingly the only "one parks" result we get is crappy general merch. o_O

That's right. DL gets a variety of unique food options, stellar maintenance and service, updated and well-maintained attractions, and regularly updated entertainment.

And WDW gets t-shirts, shopping bags, and napkins (nevermind..scratch that) that say Disney Parks! Clearly the "one Disney" initiative is a rousing success!

Maybe everyone is out to get that mac and cheese burger? Lol!

That area always seems so congested because of the stroller parking. I can't believe they took up that much more space with the seating
Moved stroller parking to share with BOG between the two (also across at the carousel) and thankfully it's far less congested feeling now ...plus they're not parked everywhere when you try to use the facilites in that nook. The extra seating outdoors also seemed to help with overall chaos in the restaurant of too many people for number of tables. Obviously that will fluctuate with attendance, but it definitiely gives much needed space and they did it nicely enough to not be an eyesore. :)
