Just so you know, I was joking. Unless you're joking too, then nevermind.

I wonder who the genious was that thought that one up. Can you imagine the poor schmuck walking through MK only to hear people commenting on how ugly the castle was?

When I first saw it, I had forgotten about the good castle, so I was like, whoa, was that there before? And it wasn't. And I hope it doesn't come back in 2021.

Oh I *hated* that! That was my first trip to WDW, and I literally walked on to Main Street and went "What the hell did they do to the castle?!" The one thing I wanted was a picture in front of the castle, and once I saw THAT, I didn't want it anymore...

Pixie Dust allows him to fold space and time. It messes up his own timeline in a way that means he may meet you twice in one day, but the first time he meets you in reality time line is the second time he has met you in his own time line. And vice-versa the second time you meet him in the reality timeline is the first time he meets you in his timeline. This is why he never speaks to guests because it would get too confusing if you tried to continue a conversation with him you started in the morning that he has not yet had.

See?

I actually liked it! I even have the figurine they were selling of it! :) I do think it would of looked better with white "frosting" than pink though. If they would ever re-think and do something like that again, I would hope they would make it look as pretty as those cakes they decorate for the WDW weddings! If you saw WDW Unwrapped on the Food Network you know what I am talking about!!

Oh! So this is all Tinkerbell's doing huh? I guess that makes sense. But how come Mickey is always wearing so many different outfits?

Regardless if you liked the "pink" castle or not, those guests who did get a picture of it, have a little bit of Disney history. It's something that likely will never be duplicated. However, I feel for those guests who made their once in a lifetime trip to WDW and only have a picture of the pink castle.

I liked the pink castle when I was there for the 25th, knowing it was temporary (And the architect in me was curious and impressed as to how it was done)... I liked the 2000 Arm at Epcot when I was there, thinking it too was temporary (And the architect in me was impressed with how it was cantilevered). I despise the EPCOT sign. My point? Let's all just be glad the Castle is no longer pink.

Welcome to the boards Epcot Girl. And I was wondering how long was the castle pink? A lot of poeple have seen it, so was it for a weekend of the entire year?

I'm fairly certain that the castle was Pink for the entire year, or atleast the entire 25th aniversary celebration. I saw the abbomination (I was not too fond of it :p ) towards the end of the celebration.

It was kinda cute, but a bit of a let down when walking into the Magic Kingdom and hoping to see a familiar sight, and instead seeing a giant pink birthday cake. I'm glad it's back to being the nice normal castle. :)

I think its was pink for a little more than a year, because it seems disney "celebrates" things for a little longer than usual.

I went to WDW before the official celebration and some of the castle was pink and some was plain- we had no idea what was going on- we thought something was wrong with the castle. It looked really weird. -Stephanie
