anyone know where I can buy pin lanyards besides on disney.com. I am looking to buy some prior to our trip and can't find anywhere. Also, if I can't find them prior to going, anyone know how much the starter kits are in disney?

Ebay is probably your best bet. I don't know that Disney stores still carry things like that.

In the parks, lanyards vary quite a bit in price. It is somewhat dependent on the number of pins that come with it, or the kinds of pins, and the sophistication of the lanyard. You can occasionally get them with less popular themed lanyards on sale...and after all you're going to trade the pins anyway...

I had bought a lanyard of 8 stitch pins and it was $44.95. They are in that ball park area of pricing.

I just bought 2 lanyards with wallet/ID holders for under $12.00 including shipping for my niece & nephew as part of their trip surprise pack. Am now in the process of picking up some general character pins so they are ready to hit the ground trading when we get there.
