Just wanted to share that we finally got a pin code we could use today! We saved over $1200 on our July trip! Today was a good day.
We were already booked, I know I couldn't believe it either. It doesn't seem to make much business sense.I wonder if it's possible to receive a pin code after booking. Or is Disney too smart for that?
Yes, it's possible. You might even get a code good during your visit. If you do, call Disney. You might be able to apply it to your June vacation. It just depends if you are already getting a discount since Disney only allows one.so i booked a trip for june this year so i mght get codes?
I get them both ways.Hi was this via email or snail mail? Thanks
We already had a discount when I was mailed our pin code. I called and they let me use the pin code deal instead.Yes, it's possible. You might even get a code good during your visit. I have received many PIN codes and have not stayed at a deluxe resort in years. I do get on the site and price out trips I never intend to take, save them, order maps, videos etc...all resorts, value mods and deluxe. Try that and see if it works. How do people get pins? We go to disney every year and stay at the GF for the past ten years.
There is no way to sign up to receive a code. Try the above suggestions from @smk. But there is nothing you can do which guarantees Disney will send you a pin code.Do you have to be a return guest? We're for our first trip next year, how can we sign up to receive code??
Pin codes are completely random. There is nothing you can do to increase your odds of receiving one
Yeah i am not so sure that they are random either. Seems like the same people receive them yearly which is far from random.I'm not sure what WDW's pin code system is, but I don't think it is completely random. For a number of years, I was getting about 2 pin codes per year by email. Then, the pin codes suddenly stopped coming after my WDW trip in November 2009 and I have not received a pin code since. Not sure what changed. There may be some element of randomness in the process, but I suspect the marketers at WDW have developed a formula to target certain groups of potential visitors.
