Yeah it was the "up to 30% off" one. When I switched to pop I ended up getting 8 nights at $109 per night because it gave me 20% off the rack rate price when I applied it. Saved us $290 I believe from what we originally had over at movies.
did u switch to pop bc movies wasnt part of promo?

When I checked the promo it said that movies was part of it, but only gave a 10% discount. So naturally we switched to Pop because it was cheaper, but I didn't actually see any discounts for movies when I was changing resorts despite it saying there was.

oh so pop had a greater discount? i thought all deluxe 30%, all moderates 25% and all value 20%...do you know if different resorts in each category ( deluxe, moderate, value) give more/ less of a percentage? i am looking into moderates and trying to decide between riverside or Caribbean ( both accommodate 5) and wasn't aware that the % off may vary depending on which resort you stay in

If you notice all Disney discount offers (including PIN codes) say "Save UP to" and "Select" deluxe, moderate and value resorts. "Select" means that not all resorts in the same category offer the same discount, and not all levels of rooms within a certain resort (standard view, preferred, water view, etc.) are eligible for the promotion. So you may have to be flexible when taking advantage of a promotion.

yes..it doesnt seem to be very clear how much you save per resorts in same category ( deluxe, mod, value) and/ or at different level rooms ( standard, garden, pool, preferred). id ike to be able to compare 2 standards ( cbr vs por) to see the difference .. i was able to compare 1 standard at cbr and 1 garden view at por and the garden at por was slightly less...unfortunately i cant find a standard at por to compareit to a standard at cbr. im ok with standards to save $

I just received a pin code from my mother in law (same last name but different address). Is it best to call and be honest with Disney or just go under her name to the resort and have my hubby check in?
Do you already have a reservation booked? If not, you could trying booking online using the pin code.
In my case, I just called and said I had a pin code that I wanted to apply toy exist reservation. They only asked for the code & zip code attached to it.
So I wouldn't mentioned who the pin code belongs to unless they ask.

It's always best to be honest. Dishonesty is quite frowned up on these boards. It's really not appropriate to ask a group of Disney enthusiast to validate dishonesty.

For years I never received any PIN Codes in the mail despite many WDW vacations, signing up for WDW's website, planning trips, ordering the CD, etc...

Since my first child was born last June, I have received 3 separate PIN code mailings over the past 9 months ... that can't be a coincidence. WDW must somehow know a lot about all of us!

Sign up for as many mailing lists as you can. Order a vacation planning DVD. Price out a trip on the WDW site but don't actually book it.

There is no definitive way to ensure you get a pin code offer.
