Piece of Disney History Pins???

I doubt so. Repeating some attractions, raising the LE number, which lead to decreased sales of the series - I think it's dead.
It had so much potential, like those sketches I made before. They could've had extinct attractions as well.
I guess it's safe to say the economy is a factor to this as well. :(

Shame...:(

At least I will save some money if I go this Aug.:lookaroun:lol:

I just got one the other day from the Character Connection store at Prime Outlets off of north International Drive. It was a piece of Madam Leota's ball from the old attraction and there are plenty more there.

Ah, another fave.:D
True! Actually, I have not bought as many pins as I used to. It's like one every other trip. I think it is the quality of the pins nowadays...

But it are THESE that are killing the pin trading. :fork:

Yes, they were cute the first two year, but toddler prince and princesses? Pirates symbols? They might be popular with some, but not I. Certainly not I.
Whatever happen to the good, unique, and awesome-sauce pins once embraced on CM lanyards?

And don't get me started on those $10 pouches. They are just silly. :eyeroll:
Yep.:dazzle: PT really has become diluted. I remember how quant and nice it was back in the Millennium. Pins were better quality then, too. I stil have my SSE2000 and EPCOT July 4th Pin.:o

Those boxed pins you linked to are annoying yes...But I do want the EPCOT Box that just came out.:lookaroun

Whatever happened to them? They just disappeared from the pin shops!:shrug:

One I never seen before:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Disney-Figment-...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:1205|293:1|294:50

And then there's this set:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Piece-of-Disney....c0.m14&_trkparms=65:3|66:2|39:1|293:1|294:50

I have that Carousel of Progress one, but the HM and Tinker Bell ones are pretty... The others must've been the third edition set....

You can still buy them at the Disney Character Premiere Shop in the Premium Outlet mall near WDW

Is there a set out for this year? I remember last Aug, scrambling to get the JII one.
Remember this year the series was moved to Disneyland. They lowered the edition down to 1000 this time. They are gone by noon each day. Look for the series to stay at DL for the next few years.

The idea will make money, the edition was just way to high for a $13 dollar pin. Especially with the attractions they did in series 3. There was no reason to do a pin for Pirates, HM and Journey into Imagination 2 years in a row. Also, on top of that, they picked 5 Studio attractions, 1 rework of the original Seas and just a flag over the magic kingdom. The only one that still keeps some value is Carousel of Progress and Star Tours.

Was that the only one there or where there others? Just looking for info as I plan to be there August 3rd and would stop by the store if there were more.
