I hadn't realized there were three series until this post. But pinpics has them all if you want to see them:

Piece of History Series #1

Piece of History Series #2

Piece of History Series #3

I only have a few of the series since if you weren't in the park the DAY OF RELEASE, you tended not to get them. Especially after they got popular. I DO have the very first one of the first series ever though - 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea it's almost surely the most valuable pin I own. I have the Haunted Mansion (Leota's Crystal Ball) but I hadn't realized it was series 3.

They're so cool. And there's so many more I'd want to get but they're pretty pricey in the ebay market.

This year they are doing a series at DisneyLand. There is also one that was one the Cruise Ship (not the one in the WDW series release) as well.

These pins have turned into my hobby after I got the Magic Kingdom Flag one.

^ Not sure which pin you mean, but to the best of my knowledge both are sold out. You can check with Disney on the MK flag pin via e-mail. The DCL was a LE of 750 and regularly is on EBAY for in the $70's.

Speaking of which, I just able to get the Lights, Motors, Action POH pin from series 3 for $1.25. Made my day.

^ Higher edition numbers and less loved attractions was a problem. I mean, I'm not sure why they started repeating attraction when some many others could have been used.

However, the Disneyland pins are selling out very fast and are not cheap already. Not only is it their first POH line, but they lowered the pins down to LE of 1000. $30 is the cheapest any one of them in the run. I've already seen some of them bought for nearly $100.

 Were you at the right place at the right time? Lucky You! :)

I just happened to be there that day and it seemed like a neat idea. I had no idea it'd become so popular or valuable because I had no idea the series would go on to be so well-collected. It just seemed neat. I don't even have any great love of 20K or anything. Honestly, I barely remember it so my feelings are neutral on it. Which is all the more lucky that I wound up picking it up. (Especially since I DO love Imagination but didn't get a chance to pick up the one for that attraction!)

^^ I did noticed that the LE # jumped from 1500 to 2500 from Series I to III. However, I didn't even knew they repeated some attractions until first posting in this thread a few days ago.

...You know, I once made quick tiny sketches of pins I would like to see conjured into this series on a piece of paper. It included extinct EPCOT attractions, some B and C - Ticket MK attractions, and even Discovery Island (Pre-DAK). I could scan it if possible.

 I guess Disney can make a more hefty PODH pin profit over in California! I might have to look it up to see what is in the series....

Scan away...

funny thing about that 20K pin - when the Pieces of History pins were first coming out, they were just like the thousands of other pins out there and it took a while for them to really catch fire. I was at Disney for the Easter break and was able to find the 20K pins for sale at the Hat in the Studios park a couple of days after they had gone on sale.

I got a little aggravated with my better half for throwing away the packaging. Oh well . . . at least I've got the pin.
