I remember this picture from before... when you had to add the Mickeys.

Yep, that's the one. Old pic, I no longer have the posters on the garage wall. Heck, I don't even have that garage anymore. Had to move due to Katrina.

TYVM. I didn't loose my stuff, although I lost my city and my house. None of us will live around N.O. again. I was just 2 blocks from the levee breach. If this side breached, I'd be in big trouble. 2 blocks from my house, just over the canal looks like a Mad Max movie. Nuclear fallout dust everywhere. Cars in trees. Boats on the road. Trees in houses. Houses pushed 50 feet away from the foundation. NOTHING livable, all condemmed and waiting to be bulldozed. miles and miles of waste and destruction. Churches, schools, police stations totaled. Thousands of cars all mucked up and all over the place. Parks made into dumpsites with trash 50 ft. high. Oh, and the flies.
:(
I better stop. Thanks for the support, but I did alright I guess. Less than $5000 in storm damage, but selling my home won't leave me with much after the note gets paid off. I may try to rent it out from out of state. Idunno but I have to stay in NLR till the end of my son's school year. Then off to who knows where. Too bad my wife's paranoid of hurricanes now cause I KNOW where I'd move us. :animwink: :animwink:

I just have so much trouble trying to wrap my mind around all of this...
