She is beautiful! Reminds me of how I felt looking at pics of the Dream anticipating the electrical moment when I'd see her with my own eyes. What an amazing moment!

They totally don't. Being up close and seeing it is amazing and surreal. It's like seeing a picture of something that looks soft then actually touching it. It's incredible!

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!

I can assure you no picture and no video can prepare you for seeing any DCL Ship in person! And as for the inside..... Well... it just leaves you speechless

Booking my honeymoon on the Fantasy very soon...Sept 22nd...

:sohappy:

We had originally wanted to book on the Dream but the cruise we chose was "hijacked" by DVC. And being DVC members, I inquired about it and it was double the price originally quoted. Plus it was only 4 nights. So, we found the 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy for that week.

FYI-The Dream's maiden voyage was on January 26th, My birthday....(for those who care :animwink:)

Awesome! :sohappy: I saw your other post on "whos booked the fantasy" and was silently crossing my fingers that it was the one you were on, NOT! JK:ROFLOL: It would be cool if you bugged us, just no stalking!!

We are getting married on the 14th..The was a Western the day after, but we would have to get up at 5 the next morning after the wedding and get to the airport...NO WAY! So the wifey said we could wait the week and go the 22nd. And the original one was on the 16th(Dream 4 nighter)...

No stalking. Promise! Heck, my boys slept in the same stateroom as us and we saw veeeery little of them on the cruise this past September. The ship is soooo big it doesn't take much effort to lose someone. LOL! We'll have to set a time/place to meet up at some point just to have a drink, say hello, and snap a pic for posterity.

It's a date! You guys will have to show us the ropes of DCL...I am so looking forward to it, its not even funny. Not sure if you read that our original plans were dumped when I learned that the Dream was chartered by DVC and it was double the price when my dad called his membership services. Then we concidered Aulani in Hawaii, but would have broke the bank on that one. So, low and behold, I found the Fantasy dates, and ran it by the wifey and its all decided...Need to book soon though..do you have a verandah stateroom? is that a good level to be on??

I totally cracked-out reading and studying when we booked our first cruise, too. It's like all-new and exciting and scary. Navigating WDW, the crowds, dining, resorts, transportation, etc and I'm just ducky. Put me on a boat and I'm clueless which was terrifying. LOL! It was fun! I'm sure Tammy wished I'd stop reading stuff because I emailed her totally paniced more than once. LOL! Yeah, DVC does their cruise in September. Some friends of mine actually rent out their points to use for cruise booking because they get a better value by doing that.

We have a deluxe verandah stateroom that sleeps 5 people. It's the same layout we had in September. Our last cruise we were one deck 7 which was great. I think the idea is to get higher up but not directly beneath or above anywhere that could be noisy. Like I've heard on ships (not necessarily DCL's) that being directly above or below a galley is very noisy. Ask PhoneDave about being above the nightclubs. Yikes! So I'd say look at the deck plans above and below where you will be to make sure you're satisfied. Get as high as you can afford to for better views. If sea sickness is a concern I've read it's best to try to get as close to the center of the ship as possible: like vertically and horizontally. So if that's a big deal look to be as close to mid-ship as you can be in the Deck 5-7 area. :D

Just send me an email! It's super easy and it's the same price you'd get from DCL. Plus onboard credits! :)

That's so fun that you'll be on the same cruise with Kelly!!
