PS: Lumiere looks . . . interesting. I didn't expect projection to be involved, but I can see why they did it and what the advantages are. The same was done for Sebastian's eyes in DCA's Little Mermaid, and it allows for some nice animation that presumably would have otherwise been tricky on such a small scale. I suppose I should wait til we begin to see him in person, but it appears the glow on his face should be adjusted a bit . . . Candles can glow, fine, but then it should glow like a candle, not a projector. Thanks for sharing!

Face projection has never bothered me so much on the characters they have used it on, I am more curious about if/how the arms will move.

They posted a video of him on Disney's internal website. He does move and his movement is incredibly fluid. The face works well with it. The picture does not do it justice. There is also an animatronic of the wardrobe.

Agreed. There had been a rumor that she'd appear as an animatronic, but I hadn't heard anything to confirm it in months. So glad to hear this!

the Storytime with Belle thingie i believe. although it would be cool to have this projection for a one-day performance of 'Be Our Guest' to entertain guests as they enjoy dinner or something at the restaurant.

The video was on Disney's internal website. Give it a few days and it should eventually make it to the Disney Parks Blog. You can't access it in its current location unless you're an employee of the Walt Disney Company.
