Sadly, if you want uncomfortable seats, go check out MILF. Those were the first seats on Property that I truly felt uncomfortable in from the first moment.

Think that the screens will have an ad for Siemens and DVC? :ROFLOL: Well I wouldn't be susprised if either the end or start of the ride it had a very short ~5 sec Siemens blurb.

Hey... This just made me think of something... I wonder if they'll move the "warning" video from the screens in the ascent tunnel to the on-board screens. After it plays, then the screens will turn off until they're needed at the top of the ride? This could bring back the audio that was removed from that part of the ascent...

So I see it isn't the 16:9 ratio screens that the "grain-of-salt" member told us it would be. So much for his credibility...as if I believed it in the first place.

I forgot to go on SSE this year, can someone remind me what the old models looked like. Aren't those the same except rejuvenated?

Well the thing is, the attraction probably won't be so bumpy after the refurb. The cars have all been removed and worked on, so I'm sure they have worked on the track (as far as I know the track has been the problem, not so much the Omnimovers themselves)..
The track has had some work done to it, but I can`t say if it included smoothing. Right now a lot of the track is difficult to access. The bumps are a combination of track and ride issues and penny-pinching on the ride vehicles themselves quite a few years after opening.

We haven't seen them "On" so how do we know the whole square is a screen?

Who are you referring to anyway? :lookaroun

Will there be 2 screens per car? If there is an ability to chose an ending will the audio compete between the front and back seats?

hmmm, that is a good question. i cant imagine them only placing 1 screen per 1 vehicle (4 seats). im not certain about the audio between the 2 rows of seats either.

good questions.

The seats should be updated and made more comfortable. I liek this ride as a midday break from the sun. The ride notoriously breaks down and grauntess you at least 20 minutes in the ac, which can be crucial during a mid summer Florida afternoon. Bring on the cushioned recliners.

Yep, 2 screens per car - one per row.
The ride notoriously breaks down
Er no -SSE had a good tech record. The ride slows for disability loading/unloading, which invariably causes creep mode turning to stop due to the extra time needed.

Even if they just stop it once per full rotation for a wheelchair then every single other rider will have to slow/stop atleast once during the ride.

Sigh. Did you guys have some sort of personal history or run-in we don't know about?

What? No one is going to admit now believing this guy or even his existance? I never believe his "salt" anyway. He's stated a lot of bold statements regarding updates and rehabs. But already a few things he's stated a while back are way off what they actually are. He refers to the people (WDI) doing the work as "we." But here is where this particular reference was stated.
