whats a single player called on the red sox...for instance if you play for the blue jays, your considered a blue jay...if you play for the yankies, your considered a yank...so if you play for the red sox...and you a red sock?

born and raised in Southwestern CT was. Grandpa was a Yanks fan, Dad is a Yanks fan so I was raised a yanks fan. I moved to Mass when I went to school. Not that happy to be a MassHOLE and I am looking to move back to CT. Of course, this move I will still be on the Red Sux part of the state. Yuck but i will never ever ever be a red sux fan. Sorry

It is okay...I know that Red Sox and Yanks fan can be friend. i have even dated a few Red Sox fans.

I grew up in Queens...the heart of METS territory. I love a good baseball game, no matter who is playing. But I will NEVER be a Red Sox fan....sorry I just can't do it.

What makes us different is what makes us interesting.

I actually ended up with tickets for that game too...I won them on a local radio station...they were seats on the green monster...
BUT I leave for Canada Sunday...and need saturday to pack...its a 2 week long trip and I still haven't even started yet...
So I forfited the tickets over to my dad...and now have to spend saturday in my room...packing...and watching the game on my TV...
WOO-HOO...I'm so excited!
Those will prob be the best seats I ever get to a red sox game...man...Canada ruins everything
