I feel each had their own elements that were great. The original one did become dated quickly, but it had a more Epcot feel to it IMHO. In the best scenario, I think the murals on the celing should have stayed, changed the color scheme to what the 90's scheme was, hung the banners over the windows (but added something like a leaf motif or something to tie them in somewhat with the mural), kept the 90s baloons, kept Farmer's Market as the name/theme but made it more bright like Sunshine Seasons, and kept the original Kitchen Kabaret and some song in Living with the Land. Hopefully the redesign won't stray too far, but I have a really bad feeling about it...

Speck ~ Thanks for posting pics of the original balloons and interior of The Land. I did not get to visit Epcot until 1997, so although I knew that The Land had been rehabed in '94, I had never seen the original. Many thanks for sharing!

I think I'm going to reserve judgement on these until I see them under show conditions.

The banners just make The Land look more bare... I would've killed to see the mural/painting that was on the walls before the 94 update (minus the bad mix of other colors scattered around the pavillion).
