Which Signature Dining Experience would you choose? And why? What is your fav meal here? What makes this one your fav?

Thanks!

Narcoosees is my favorite (well, V&A's is my ultimate favorite ). I love the view of the castle and the fireworks during dinner. The ambiance is wonderful, the service is excellent and the food is delicious! We've eaten her many many times and everything has always been great. :slurp:

Dh and I tried several of the Signature dining places on our anniversary trip this past Sept. We went to California Grill, Artist Point and Yachtsman.

My DH favorite was the Yachtsman. I also enjoyed it very much. Service was great. I had the scallops for appetizer, just too good. He had prime rib, suge a huge cut he couldn't finish it all. I also took a bite and hated leaving it. Very falvorful and tender. I had the filet, good but nothing special.

My favorite was Artist Point. We both had the smoky port mushroom soup....worth going here just for this! I had the buffalo sirloin, very good but I think I was "steaked out" by this point in the trip. He had the cedar plank salmon...also very good. We shared the berry cobbler for dessert.... it was out of this world good! Our service was fantastic, got personalized menus for our anniversary and ice wine with dessert.

Neither of us were impressed with Cali. Grill. Actually, had some dissapointments in service and food.

On our next anniversary trip I promised DH we could go back to the Yachtsman...I will probably get the prime rib next time.

Hope this helps!

Lunch w/an Imagineer @ Hollywood Brown Derby. Hands down the BEST dining experience I've ever had!

Unfortunately I have only eaten at Jiko when it comes to the signature category. I thought that it was fantastic and would recommend it to anyone. It is of course a little out of the ordinary since they have a different style of recipes. For someone like me who enjoys a different type of dining, it was very good.

Sorry can't narrow to one. We usually feel the need to hit a majority of these on the vacation:

California Grill - People say it is loud, but we love everthing about it. Standing on the overlook watching firewooks and seeing the full view of the castle always tops the evening. We have never had a bad meal either. The last 3 vacation we hit the place twice during our visit because we could not narrow down what to eat.

Narcoosees - We love the atmosphere here. If you are lucky enought to get a view by the window it great to watch the castle change colors. stepping out to the veranda is also nice to watch the fireworks. Great Seafood. My favorite is the lobster.

Artisti Point - Nice relaxing place. Makes you just feel at home. The cedar plank salmon and buffalo are great. This is our home away from home resort and we always end up eating here when we can't decide where to eat!

Jiko - Great place if you want to try new exciting takes on meals. The menu has a great choice of options. The view and places is great. The lights are birds and the walls change like the sunset through the meal.

Yatchmann Steakhouse - Best place to get a great steak. I am not crazy about the theme, but others love it. We come here for food.

Victoria & Alberts - This is our once every few years splurge meal. You just feel like royality and you walk away feeling great.

The DH and I are thinking of upgrading to the Deluxe Dining Plan this next trip. We are doing it up BIG! With the savings for the 4/3 we are staying 8 nights at GF. And hoping to do things like spa treatments and tours, stuff that we would not usually be able to do. So we thought we would bump up the dining too. So far we are looking at Yachtsmen for sure! But we want another one. Here's the catch - I'm not a fan of seafood. So I don't know which one to choose. I've ruled out Brown Derby and Artist's Point (too "gamey").

So I think i'm down to Narcoossee's, Citricos, and California Grill. For a "nothing from the sea girl" - which do you think is best?
