not a contest here, just 'for the heck of it'. i'm curious to see the effects of photoshop, a picture of the haunted mansion, and everyone's personal touch.

the idea is to make the mansions much more creepy, and foreboading. no rules, no boundries, no nothing - just have fun. i can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. here's one to start. this was originally a bright and sunny shot of the haunted mansion at disneyland. changed the brightness, color, texture, and what not - and behold:

wanted to make this one look like a distressed, partially destroyed, old photo - but my photoshopping skills are quite limited. i couldnt get cracks to look realistic, though i suppose i could've cloned them out of a real cracked photo... oh well, maybe next one...

Very nice on all. I just did one but don't know how you are uploading them. Are you hosting on your own server and linking? If so, I have space to do that, just tell me how to embed it if you could.

Thanks,
Mike

Here my attempt. It was an old 1970s color photo that I desaturated and adjusted levels and then did some burning on the sky to darken. Let me know what you think.

Here is a series of 3 pictures I did this evening - they are all the same source. I have no idea how I did these, I just kept playing with settings and ended up with these:
