Photos you HAVE to take every time!

Is there a photo somewhere in the World that you take every trip?

When my sister and I were growing up, my dad always took pictures of us in the same spots every trip. It's awesome to go through our albums and see us grow up! Thanks Dad!!!

He still takes the pictures of us in those spots (yes, we are grown and still take trips with our parents!) but we also do the same pictures with the little ones in our family. I love it!!!

One of my favorites is when we try and pull the sword out of the stone in Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland.

I'd love to hear some of your must do photo ops!

I like to get pics of anyone I'm with wearing the Opra Glasses at Philharmagic. I have some funny pics of that.

I think they are called Tiki gods todem poles in Adverture land. They mist out water now. They used not to. but that is one and now I have taken the tradition on with my kids. Then there is a gorilla in the Tree of Life line that I do now also.:lol:

Every year since 1993, we have taken a picture of our two kids in front of the Lady and the Tramp statue inside Tony's at the MK. We didn't consciously set out to do it at first but now have 13 years worth of pictures watching them grow up from ages 9 and 5. Now one of the youngest is performing at MK and the oldest will be getting married next year *sigh* Time flies so it's nice to have the memories.

We usually take a picture in front of the main entrance to Disney World, the obligatory castle shot, sunset blvd. in front of ToT, and several other random areas of the parks.

Our family, along with the rest of the world's vistors, take a picture with the castle in the background each year.

I also take a shot of my daughters right across from Star Tours each year on that cruiser whatever it is (feel free to tell me the correct name so I can edit this). During one visit, it was missing because it had been taken out for painting. I took a photo of the girls in the same spot anyway and told them to gesture as if to say, "Where is it?".

We have taken pics of the kids at various places we visit every year since they were babies. We always get one with Mickey and one in front of the Castle.

We do this too. Our spot is at the MK on the bridge to Liberty Square, with Cinderella's castle in the background.

I always have to take a picture of each of my kids on the carousel, my dad took us as kids & now I do the same with my kids. Of course, we always have to do the castle, but for some reason we also always do the goofy statue that is outside Tony's.

We always take picutes of our kids sitting on the bench with Roy and Minnie. Before I went the first time with kids, I read here of people that take pictures of their kids in the same spot everytime to watch them through the years. We felt this was a great spot that would never leave.

We go every year during the first week of December (though this year it will be the week of December 10). Two pictures I take every year are of the Christmas Tree at the entrance to the World Showcase and of SSE from across the lagoon in front of the American Adventure pavilion. I also videotape IllumiNations and the "dancing" fountain for the complete loop of Christmas music.

I for some reason always take pics of us in the monorail. We always end up getting upfront with the captain and it is normally empty except for the two of us so I will take pics of us while moving with different things in the background like SSE or the Contemp. They turn out nice.

The ride photo on Splash, only when I got home did I realise that 4 years in a row I was wearing the same Ben Sherman shirt. (still must have meant that my weight was steady or I had bought a really big shirt)

By the statue of Walt & Mickey - to me that statue epitomizes what WDW is all about.

for me it was the Living Seas logo with the water, however that thing was gone the last two times i was there, then theres New York Ave in MGM, and my new thing now that I have a better digital camera that ive done the past two times is a good night shot of Spaceship Earth.
