The disneyfoodblog had a pretty positive review though. One thought the brisket was dry the DFB said it was juicy. Interesting.
I heard the food was pretty inconsistent on day one. Both assessments could be correct. Hopefully they can get a more consistent product.
I've been looking forward to this for quite a while. It's a surprise that, looking at the type and amount of food in a serving, that this is using up a table service credit on the dining plan. I presume that's because of the elevated pricing? Like others have said, hopefully consistency comes with a little time!
Yes, this has now been changed to quick service. It's a quick service credit
Same sizeAre there two different sizes for the sides? I know the menu only has one size, but I'm curious if a side that comes with the meal is a smaller portion than a side ordered separately.
That seems unfortunate. It either makes the 'From the Smoker' meals an excellent value, or the sandwiches a poor value (or both?). For a sandwich, side, and drink, you're looking at $20+.Same size
You can add sides to a sandwich for $3That seems unfortunate. It either makes the 'From the Smoker' meals an excellent value, or the sandwiches a poor value (or both?). For a sandwich, side, and drink, you're looking at $20+.
That said, that sandwich looks mighty tasty......

Yeah, that's what I figured. Brisket can be hit or miss. I have no doubt both were correct.
