That's a preminate building. My question is, what will be inside that needs such a large building?

It's part of the interactive queue for Dumbo. From what we have heard it will contains games of some sort for kids to play while waiting for thier turn in line.

How long did the lines at Dumbo get?

Hopefully this is hidden and covered well. I know the concept art shows it has tons of landscaping around it, but I just wonder if it will be obvious once you're waiting in line.

Love the pictures! Are there gonna be waterfalls off of Beast's and Eric's castle? And it's nice to see storybook circus prepping to open in March! Does anyone know if both Dumbos are opening at the same time, what will be in the large tents, and if the billboard outside of Great Goofini will be painted? :) Thanks!

They still have a lot of walkways to still do. Somebody better kick it into a higher gear since opening day is less than a month away!

They still have not even started to cover the tents yet and it looks like they have been adding some more support structure to the tent frames.

Then there is a lot of landscaping to be done at some point before opening.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that the tents won't open with Dumbo just the Casey Jr., Dumbo (for sure one not sure if both will?), and Great Goofini. But still it looks like a lot to do in less than a month lol

There will be water features. Its in the concept art, and in photos ive seen, I can spot the pipes that will carry water. In photo 2 of 4 you can see where the water will fall at BatB and how it carries under the two bridges.

For the person that asked about the trees and mulch. There is new mulch all over Magic Kingdom right now. Last week there was some but when I was there on Sunday almost everywhere has new mulch in the beds. It's that time of year in Florida.

The Dumbo line gets very long. It is one of the slowest loaders in the park and as those with little kids know, one of the most popular with the pre-school set.

Apparently the scaffolding on Dumbo's new circus tent is coming down tonight. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have some pics to see.

I would be surprised that Casey Jr would open. There does not appear to be much going on over there besides a few concrete walls and curbing. As for the tents, I would be surprised that the first tent which was for retail would not be open. That has always been a very busy store. The second one for Pete's whatever I believe was to open later.

Ohh awesome! I hope someone can post some pics.

I did see some pics somewhere yesterday and they showed more trees being brought into the area. So the landscapers are moving forward.

How much is there to be done though? I would assume Casey Jr would be prefabricated and could already be done as far as we know. Other than whatever piping/drainage is needed for Casey, the rest of the area is pretty much just paving and trees, isn't it?

Dumbo Building

So what does everyone think about the back of the Dumbo building? This is going to be fully seen from the Speedway and doesn't look very attractive. I don't even think shrubbery or trees will block it.
