Beautiful decorations! We went early October in 2009 and loved seing all the fall decor. They do such a great job.

Not only the fabulous decorations but the fantastic Halloween parade and treats! My wife and I love it, especially watching the wonder in eyes of the children all dressed up and the adults who want to recapture their childhoods for a few wonder minutes. Boo!! :sohappy:

We are going to the party that is the night before the 40th anniversary. I'm dressing up as the 15th anniversary, my wife as the 25th anniversary and my 5 year old son as the 40th anniversary.

For people that are going, are you dressing up? If so what? :) Im going as Capt. Jack Sparrow this year! :D

The 3 of us (husband, wife, grown daughter) are going as the Incredibles. I even have foam-rubber muscles! (The first, and likely only, time I wil have had a "six-pack.")

I think they are new... I was changing my "work" desk pictures over to Disney Halloween ones.. and the garlands are in none of the pictures.. and I took these in 2009... Only thing I am seeing is the pennants and fall flowers in pots... and a few pumpkins... Can't wait to take new pictures

Erm...I know Halloween is very important to Americans but is this event really worth the ticket fee? We are staying there in October and as AP-holders we would get a reduction and I am at least thinking about going one evening.
Is it worth the money?

I'm not an American either (I'm Dutch) but love these party it adds so much Disney sfeer to it.
And it is well worth the money, at least that my opinion, as long as you at least like Halloween a bit. So much extra to see and do. I will be going in October too. Just go and get the Halloween feelling, plus the extra's

We just returned home from being at WDW from 8/15 to 8/29. We are going back in 21 days for a week and will probably do one night at MNSSHP.

I never ceases to amaze me how quickly the people at WDW are able to completely transform the place for the different holidays. We were at MK on the night of the 28th and none of this was there.

Just amazing!!! Can't wait.

The Halloween party has a bunch of exclusive events, so I think that at least once it is worth it. I am going for the first time in a few weeks. I have a hard time justifying the christmas party though if you have ever been there during the holidays. The things that are special for the holidays make their way into the park for all guests during the later part of December.

Does anyone have a pic from this week that shows what they decorated the street lamps with? Seeing there are so many new decorations, was hoping those got a spruce up too!

I didn't know Halloween was heavily American! I know the UK celebrates it, right?
