I love this discussion, this site is always so entertaining. I think we forget that Storybook Circus is really themed out for children and families and the area fits that well. When i was in WDW in August I was in this area and while there was some of this present it did not look as complete as the pictures posted. I will say this, had this been built someplace in universal we would be reading about how forward thinking they are and why has Disney not added anywhere for guests to charge their phones and relax while their kids are off playing.

The picnic tables were there during our visit in January 2014, but the other seating was not.
And, a significant part of our group spent several HOURS parked near that tent the last day of our trip. For some reason we weren't IN the tent and I can't remember if there wasn't enough seating inside or if the weather that day made us want to be in the sun.

So, some of the furniture is (relatively) new and places to sit are very welcome.

Sorry, I missed the section of this site that explains what we are and aren't allowed to discuss. If you point it out to me I will be happy to follow the rules.

Oooo!! Tough guy!! You wanna fight on the internet on a Disney message board!?!?

Yawn. There's a difference between discussion and argument. If you want to be a wise butt and have an arguement, PM me. I'll show you the difference.

I was in that area in late January and most of that furniture was not there. It would be really nice to have a quick service option in there, although it's not really built for it. I certainly don't mind a seating area, but this one just looks strange to me. I have young kids and spend a lot of time back there, but I can't really see camping out there as it is removed. Dumbo's play area works better for me.

It's news to me. I was just there in December and there was nothing there just benches along the sides
Same here. I spent a long time in that area while recharging a toddler in early December. Nothing but a few tables and benches in there. So it may not be breaking news but its news to a lot of us and much appreciated. Not everything posted is going to be earth shattering. I like that wdwmagic covers all the bases, little things, big things and the things that the typical person (not lifestylers) may miss along the way. Thanks for all you do @wdwmagic

Is this meant to be ironic, and therefore comedic? or, no? Should I be laughing with you? or at you?

I'm sorry, I love Disney and usually approve of most of their choices, but this screams cheap to me. Really? This is the best use of this space? It looks like a cheap garage sale. No, Disney, you can do better than this.

Please let Pixar make a new movie with a circus theme so most of this area can be put to good use.

I admittedly did not read all 4 pages but my first thought is that the fact that this is "old news" as a few have posted, really shows how popular Storybook Circus is.. I have a 5 year old and we RARELY even walk through the arch.. Sad really as this area could have been so much more

So we - family of 5, kids ages 8, 12 and 13 - were in this area today to take a break. It was nice in that it was an area in the shade and there is an assortment of places to sit and relax. There was a circus mirror there where some kids were having a blast playing in front of it. There were some people eating, some people recharging phones, a woman nursing, etc. It works for a variety reasons and is both quiet and out of the way.

The theming is what it is. There are some large open suitcases there and the seats and tables are hodgepodge. It is the essence of eclectic.

For everyone arguing about when the furniture was there or not. Keep in mind that the area was cleared out in Nov/Dec when it was used for Jack Skellington during the MVMCP season.

So I don't know the exact info or dates, but it's very possible for some people to have seen some of this furniture say last summer, then others to have seen no furniture towards the end of the year.
