Photos from Disneyworld in 1979

Looking through my parents' photo albums, I found some photos of our trip to Disneyworld in 1979. I'm not sure where they all are though, so I was hoping that some of you who remember it well from that time could help out. I was about 7 or 8, so my memories of this holiday are a little hazy.

This is my father, but I have no idea where this was taken.

Another one of my father, obviously somewhere in Adventureland.

This is me with my father and grandmother. I have a feeling this was taken at the 'Disney Village' if that ever existed. Is that where DTD is now? Also, I think I recognise the lamps, but I don't know where from.

This seems to be nearby.

This is me with my mother and grandmother. I think it says something like 'Disney Village' on the sign.

This one confuses me, as I can see the Contemporary Resort and the castle in the background. Is this where the Wilderness Lodge is now?

I think this was taken walking up Main Street, in a little alley on the left.

I have no idea where this one was taken.

I'm not sure where this was. Is it the famous River Country?

The Disney Village ones are exactly where you thought. Originally the area now taken up by things like "Once Upon A Toy" and "World of Disney" were a collection of shops, from souvenirs to food and alcohol, called "The Disney Village" or "The Disney Village Marketplace." The steamboat you see in the background was called "Empress Lily" and was named after Walt's wife. It's now just called "Fulton's Crab House."

Additional Edit: Check out the info on Empress Lily. They had a character breakfast that in 1990 cost $6.50 for kids...

This is my father, but I have no idea where this was taken.

The buildings appear to be fantasy land buildings so this looks to be on the Frontierland path way from the hub facing that direction. I like the trees.

Yep, looks to be the adventureland pathway from the hub.. you can see a speaker tower for the castle area in the background.
