I've been wondering if they are completely changing what the facade looks like so it matches better with the new Fantasyland theme? Or are they just repainting it?

It's been like this at least a couple weeks already. Last time I was there, it was covered over and that was a few weekends ago.

There is some seating in front of the entrance to Cosmic Rays directly across from the Enchanted Grove since all the seating at Enchanted Grove is gone for now.

Oh duh, nevermind, I completely forget where this was! Its not exactly in Fantasyland and thus wouldn't need a retheme.

Nobody does construction like WDW. My lord, it is like they wrapped a giant photograph areund the building. That is them getting it done while trying to maintain the guest experience.

Makes sense Cheshire would be here since its right by the tea cups. Now if only they would change that damn tea cups roof!

Maybe that is one of those announcements?

I keep looking at the other tea cups at the other parks and get depressed

The scrim has been up since the first week in August at least, and as people said Fantasyland isn't too bad at the moment but it's not great their is construction walls over at Pinnochio (if I spelt it wrong then my bad) their is the long scrim which is for the expansion right beside it which I am not complaining about that, the whole end at tea cups seems to narrow because of the walls but overall it doesn't seem to bad to me could be much much worse :)

i think these scrims would look better if they didn't put the blue sky on the top.. i would not have known that was a skrim at first glance if it didn't have the sky on it.

still, it looks a thousand times better than if another theme park was doing a refurb. it would most likely be tar pooling lol.

Ahhh! The early leaked details had a Alice in Wonderland QS. :sohappy:

I can't wait to see what the finished project looks like -- We spend an awful lot of time around the teacups and am excited that there will be even more Alice in Wonderland theming in that area.

But what would make me really, really happy is if they were to remake this area so we could play Musical Chairs with Alice and Mad Hatter every day like they do at Coca-Cola Corner in Disneyland.

I know it would probably never happen here in Florida, (I have watched the way some guests act around the characters and I doubt we would ever get in a game of musical chairs) but a girl can dream, right? ;)
