Bear in Mind, If youre at Epcot, your photographer is a Disney cast member (Tan Vest) but in the other 3 parks, theyre more than likely a Kodak employee.

They two have different shooting styles.

also, there is no photopass on rides yet. So if you want to buy that picture, do it right away.

They're working on this happening sometime in the future. No word as to when.

The Tinkerbell picture was taken at MK with the castle in the background and the picture with Sully at MGM. We did not get any done in Epcot. Maybe we just got the good photographers.

Kinda off the thread but... If they can manage to give out hundreds or more of the photopasses every day to everyone.... How come they cant manage to have hard cards for the extremely expensive AP's? Just a thought.

Two entirely different concepts there, comming out of two seperate budgets.

I talked with some people in ticketing and asked this very question (I cant say much, i was working for the mouse at the time) .... Basically, the magnetic strip that is encoded on your room key isnt as strong as those on the APs. But here's the larger reason - Since you can get APs at every ticket planning booth, thats an extra machine that they would have to put at every ticket planing kiosk as well as integrating the ticketing software.

Its just easier for the vacation planners to have a "one type fits all" ticket media.

Back to photopass - If you had someone do the tink in your hands photo, that was kodak. I will not comment on Kodak's quality, but i will say i am not happy with the quality of photos i get from both Disney & Kodak.

I thought thats why disney took the thing over in the first place?

Dave is absolutely right; this is VERY stale news. If you're really interested in photo options, please start a new thread. Thanks.
