My guess is that it's a chimney structure...I'm thinking they will keep the roofline similar to those by Gaston's...in which a pitched roof would swallow alot of that up, so while you see 4 sections on that pillar, only about 1.5 would be visible.

if thats the case, wouldnt they be worred about seeing the Rupenzel Tower from the Que lines at Haunted Mansion, wouldnt it take away from the erieness of the mansion itself. then again, depending on the trees and sight lines.

When I get a few minutes I'll look at the prints and see if I can make out what's going on. I don't recall a chimney, but I haven't looked at those in a while. I'll report back. But yes the tower is going behind the restrooms and appears to be a separate structure.

Given the overlays I have seen done on here, I have always held the opinion that it wasn't even going to have a M&G. Just a men's and women's restroom and another pathway leading into Liberty Square. Has that changed?

Ah yes, now I remember the discussion. There was a circle at the top of the hill where the waterfall started. I thought it was a wishing well of sorts, but someone pointed out it would probably be the tower.

I believe there will also be a tower of some kind at the entrance to the womens RR, or it could just be a round entrance.

It would also be really cheap if they did it that way, the tower isn't THAT tall, so why not make a full size replication?

A full size replication would be awesome....I could think of all sorts of cool things they could do with that.

Nope. The tower is going a lot closer to mansion. Behind the restrooms.

That tower is behind the restrooms. The angle is a bit deceptive. As for the height, difficult to judge as what is installed may only be the base. If it is the Rapunzel tower it will definitely be forced perspective (obviously) and could look amazing. And because of the location there is no way it will be visible from the HM entry. I am sure if it is at some narrow points then trees will be planted.

I actually have high hopes. No, it won't be an eTicket attraction. No, it won't be Cars Land. But based on the plans, the area will look very nice and most importantly, it will REALLY open up that area (obviously). They'll eliminate one of the worst bottlenecks in the entire park, AND replaced tiny hidden potties with gigantic restroom facilities.
