I remember seeing a live show at Universal Studios that highlighted the special effects used in horror films, with a comedic flair added to the show.

yeah that's still there and its pretty much exactly the same show as when i first saw it in 1997.

man yeah they need to get rid of american idol and make a super attraction. think of what they could do with that space!

It just hasn't been the same since it was The Monster Sound Show with Chevy Chase and Martin Short back in the 90's.

That was a fun show and generated a lot of laughs when the work of the volunteers was played back over the movie and the effects were either wrong or off time. It was a great respite and a feel good attraction.

The Sounds Dangerous was just..... awful. I saw it once and said, never again. I walk past the (usually closed) attraction and think of the old show and what a waste of space it has become....

My sister and I were selected to volunteer and it was pretty dang funny. It was always a good laugh with how bad everyone did with the sound effects. I just wish I had our Oscar caliber performance on video. People seemed to enjoy that show a lot more than sounds dangerous.

Here's a real suggestion: remove American Idol, and combine the two buildings into a new Star Wars attraction.

:sohappy::sohappy: THAT would make DHS my new favorite park!!

I nominate you to replace Meg Crofton...

I second that!! Motion carried!!

I agree with The Mouse, you're not going to visit every attraction when you visit a park, but the more options you have the better. It helps spread the crowds, even if the attraction is largely unpopular.

I hope something is replacing Sounds Dangerous, although my preference would be something larger would replace Sounds Dangerous and American Idol Experience.

Admittedly, I have only ever been in SD one time, just to say that I have been to every attraction in WDW, but we were the only people in the theater. Does it get many guests during the busier times of the year?
