Photo Question

I am traveling to disneyworld in January with my partner - we are so excited. I have a question though - I want to take lots of pictures of us but how do you suggest avoiding taking solo photos to take photos together? It seems kinda hard if its only a 2 person party.

Ask a nearby CM. Whenever we would get our picture taken with one of the characters, they were more than happy to snap a picture with all of our cameras. Sometimes complete strangers would ask me or my wife to take their picture and most people are pretty accommodating if you ask them nicely. ;)

Yep, ask a CM and they will be more than happy to help. The DH & I always offer to help out and snap a photo or two of couples and families so everyone can be in the picture.

I concur with the comments made before. Cast members are always happy to help, and many a random guest will help as well. There is another option, and that is using the photopass. Basically you carry a special "credit card" and hand it to any Disney photographer. Pictures will then be available for your later purchase, or you could pre-purchase them. You can also ask photopass photographers to use your camera in addition to theirs.

Another option that goes along with the photopass and not nearly as costly is to get the photopass card as suggested but have the photopass photographer take pictures with your camera as well, not just theirs. I've had great success with this in the past and sometimes the pictures taken with your camera actually turn out better. I had this happen with a night shot outside Pirates of the Caribbean. The photopass shot turned out blurry while the one on my camera was fantastic.

I agree. Stop a CM or one of the Photopass photographers. Don't be afraid to ask a guest passing by. Most people are happy to help.

I've often stopped folks to ask if they would like me to take a photo for them. They always appreciate it!!

It all depends how many pictures you plan on taking... we had over 200 done this year, and that was my plan, so I pre-ordered the photopass cd before I left. It was 99.00 and then I own the rights to all of the pictures that were taken. I just finished adding boarders and clips to them and sent for my cd, it should be in the mail today.... :sohappy:
Then while your picture is being taken by the photopass photographer you can hand them yours.
