I have the same issues. Best tips are to shoot in burst mode and hope you get a few good ones and to shoot with a mechanical shutter vs. electronic shutter.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I've been doing with pretty mixed results. I was hoping there was some secret shutter speed that would capture it better.

Side shots are really tough as the "masking" typical fails to cover the entire exposed area.
