Unfortunatly I had to deal with an individual who stole my images (along with speck's and some others) and placed them on a website without approval or credit. This is why this is a tad bit late... but if you missed last weekend's update please read that first. This is only a refresher!

I had a couple of hours, so here we go:

Most of the decorations are up for the castle, excluding the characters.

Which are slowly being placed in...

The new hub really does pack them in.

They were painting the Noodle.

Looks like they're keeping the same color.

Guess what's open?

So many choices...

Should I get the Beef Emanada or the Three Taco Special?

IMG_3554.jpg

This lady was kind enough to point me to the condiment station! That's what I call service!

IMG_3556.jpg

Mmmm, taco salad. I so splurged and used the salsa. :slurp:

THE LADDER IS ON THE ORBITER!

While the Express' Exit Gates we're being checked on.

If you were on property and noticed a large amount of suits, this explains things. IBM and some other companies hosted some lectures on engineering (including the engineering behind Disney's attractions) throughout the week.

What a great way to *GASP* attract some sponsors?

The Land's former music loop was no more when I approached the construction walls.

Instead, there's a new loop. Wasn't that bad, fit in with the whole futuristic theme with the other pavilions (excluding Test Track).

And that's it. Enjoy!

Thanks!

What kind of loop is being played at the Land?

Details? Does it play traditional songs? Synthesizer/band/march style? Is there any coherent "theme?"

(Gonna miss the old one!)

I only caught one piece. It is more upbeat, best way I could describe it was like an adventure flick. Your standard Epcot music loop, which is like the works of Bruce Bourton. Fit in with the overall theme that Epcot has with it's background music for the fountain and most Future World attractions.

I liked the portion I heard, but I will always miss the old BGM for The Land. Especially when it goes into The Fiddler on the Roof's Sunrise Sunset theme.

Ahhh. It's great to see El Pirata Y El Perico open. I am going in 2 weeks so I hope to be able to eat there. The taco salad looks really good. Nice Update, I enjoyed it.

"Sunrise, Sunset," etc. were played in the *interior* of the Land. The songs outside were synthesized renditions of "Ol' Susanna," "Listen to the Land," and other folk songs. The best part about the exterior loop was that, unless you really listened, you would never be able to tell what song what was playing.

I, for one, am sick of "adventure drama film x" score, but am a huge fan of Broughton's work at Energy. I am also a huge fan of the Epcot entrance. But if this thing is anything like the Soarin' adventure movie march music that plays at California, I'm gonna be purty upset.

I can't wait to hear what the new loop sounds like.

Excellent Pics!! So they are plaing the new Land Loop as a tease for what's to come. I hope this new loop is as good as the other loops throughour the park.

BTW, Grizz, I like your avatar:sohappy:

Good update Phil. Hope you get the whole situation sorted out soon.

I'm guessing for the Noodle station they are just putting down a new layer of paint on the area with little changes other than the menu and name?

I'm dealing with the same individual right now. I found 4 pages of my photos on that site.

Great pics. I'm going back on March 18 so I can't wait to see how far the castle comes along, I really like what I've seen already:sohappy:
