So, Sara made a a peace offering compromise that I agreed to. As a result, we lost all of our FastPasses for both today and tomorrow. Here, she's with CM's crying over the situation, blaming me. The CM gave us additional FP's for AK only. EE is back online. We're now on the FP line in a better mood, after almost killing each other.

The couple behind us is having an argument over FP. They're screaming at each other. FP+ will break up families and may cause couples to break up.
So what fast passes did you lose? What was the compromise? Where are you going tomorrow?

So many questions left unanswered.

I'll try to explain tomorrow. I'm running on fumes right now.

We did Dinosaur, EE, Kali River, Toy Story Mania, Soaring, SSE, Living Seas with Nemo, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, WEDWay PeopleMover, It's a Small a World, and Space Mountain today.

Yesterday we did Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Buzz, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Stitch, and Voyage of the Little Mermaid at the MK.

Tomorrow we have FP for Star Tours 2.0, Tower of Terror, and Rock N Roller-coaster. We plan to go first to EC as soon as that park opens and make a mad dash to Test Track 2.0, followed by M:S, before heading over to DHS for those FP rides we have that I just mentioned.

From there, we are driving back home to West Palm a Beach and make it on time for a Mother's Day dinner with the rest of the family.

From what you can see, see are doing pretty good, and may just see everything we wanted. I have been impressed with all the new updates. Still not DL quality for Space Mountain and PotC, but a notch up from the last versions I've seen here at WDW. IASW is just in a sad sorry state. Splash Mountain and Big Thunder shine and have been restored to better than better than they have always been.

I'll write a complete review. I have plenty, plenty to say!

I left the room to eat, with Sara still hitting snooze. I hope she makes it to breakfast!

Random stuff as I wait for Sara in the resort cafeteria:

- Both Sara and I were impressed with the Nemo overlay for LS.

- Although we both have seen Soaring at DCA, we appreciated the EC version just the same. However, the lack of a projection clean room in the EC version has caused he film to become very dark and dirty. This was real heart breaking to see! We look forward to the rumored ultra HD digital projector upgrades!

- With both Soaring and LS, you can see a drastic clash of old 80's pavilion construction and the newer additions/upgrades built adjoining it. They could have painted away all that 80's light blue at the LS and the brown 80's carpets in The Land to the same for the sake of uniformity, style, and good taste!

- They did a great job with the SSE refresh, but it's pretty tacky that the Imigineering team weren't given a budget to finish it!

- Parts of Future World are too dark and need to be lit up at night. It feels like you're in a dangerous ally about to get mugged. Sara said its "dangerous". She made that comment as we walked through a dark area between LS and SSE.

- Both Splash Mountain and Big Thunder look amazing now! All over the MK, the light theming and colors are very good, especially at Tomorrowland and Frontierland. The lighting at the MK is better by far than DL!

I'm going to go check on Sara to make sure she's not still sleeping... More later...

Sara's on her way to the cafeteria now, so I'll fit in more random reviews as I'm waiting...

Space Mountain - the new que area is a downgrade. We actually miss seeing the projected stars and projections of asteroid-size chocolate chip cookies flying above! The ride itself is an improvement from its last carnation. The new effects work nicely. The new sound effects are a nice touch. However, it's still the rickety bumpy ride I've remembered it to be. You can still see the tracks. While the effects are an improvement, it's still not the all-immersive smooth ride of its younger DLR brother. And it still lacks onboard audio. Even with all of its defects, it's still one of Disney's best and it's still ultra-fun to ride. Enough so that we went back to ride it the following day - the only attraction so far we went back to ride a second time!

Haunted Mansion - Much improved. It's now by far superior to its DLR sibling. However, the improved lighting effects also brightens the ride. It's not dark and foreboding like the one at DLR is, but I like the dark and foreboding feel of the DLR version!

Now at DHS. Tower of Terror (FastPass) first, Star Tours 2.0 (FastPass), then Rock N Roller Coaster (Fast Pass).

There's room under the bridge to DHS from EC for a transport system. Took pics to prove it. Will post when a get a breather.
