I ran into a few people who had never been on the ride before and after they waited over an hour in the standby line would say, "thats it?...I waited and hour for that?"
Pretty much my thoughts on my first trip in 1987. The first day I spent at Epcot and rode World of Motion, Spaceship Earth and Horizons with little wait and each ride lasted 10-15 minutes or so. I then waited forty minutes to get on a three minute ride with very basic effects.

I like the ride - I just won't invest a lot of time standing in a queue for it.

The other problem is that the queue for Peter Pan moves very slow...this automatically puts people in a bad mood when they stand in one place for 15 minutes. Believe it or not, the queue feels much shorter when its constantly moving than when its stopped. Once again, taking FP out would mostly end this problem and cause the waits to probably average 30-40 minutes instead of 60-70.
