They seem to be taking a leaf out of the Star Wars films...............Phoenix Nights the first series was repeated on Ch4 about three months ago, just before the start of the second series. Series two finished two weeks ago. However, Ch4 are now showing a PREQUEL (as per Star Wars) the first episode was Monday just gone. Look out for Ch4 2250hrs Monday 30th.

In the shops now on DVD and VHS :-

I have heard so many people say how good the tower show is, I will have to invest in a copy.

I have a feeling E4 are showing Phoenix Nights too, so I will keep a check on there.

I've not seen celeb, but i used to catch black books when i could.

I thought it was pretty funny.

Well I watched the prequell to the first series last night and have to admit I was splitting my sides with laughter. Peter Kay (aka Brian Potter) is about the funniest thing on TV at the moment.

The Office is the dog's nadgers (even better than Phoenix Nights). Ricky Gervais has created a masterpiece. I must be very lucky, as I have never worked for anyone remotely like the character he plays, but I know people who have.

Watched the entire 2nd series on Saturday night on E4.

What can I say - - - - SHEER CLASS!!!

If the new League Of Gentlemen series wasn't soooo awesome, there would be a new king in town!!!!

Cant stand either League of Morons or Phoenix nights, Never watched the office so cant say. However Celeb was a very funny cartoon in Private Eye many moons ago so if the series is half as good id watch it.

Thats the trouble since I upgraded the PC ive never replaced my TV card and now I only watch the telly when Im home at weekends.

When I was in London I used to go to the Beeb regularly to watch shows like Buzzcocks , Think its all over and Shooting Stars, and the best bits never make it to your screen.
