Perplexed - MYW ticket options

We're in the midst of planning our 6/11-6/17/06 trip to the World and I'm trying to decide on which tickets to buy - for the umpteenth time! :hammer:

I expect we'll be arriving by early afternoon on Sunday (flights leave as early as 6:30 from Philadelphia). We definitely have one day planned for SeaWorld and possibly will spend two days at Universal Studios (if our budget allows). I'm hoping to get a late flight on Saturday so we can make the most of our week-long adventure, but it all depends on the airlines and available flights - we may need catch a flight around 4pm.

This is my dilemma...
I had considered 4 day hoppers if we visit US. I've priced both with and without the water park option and 6 day hoppers without the water parks if we don't go to US. What I'm trying to decide is if I can afford adding no expiry to either the hopper or premium pass, and how many days if I make the decision. I have no plans to return, though DD would like to go back in 2009 after her HS graduation.

I know you can't help me spend my money, and I'm not really looking for opinions. It's therapeutic (sort of) to put my thoughts in print. If you have anything to offer, please post.

Thanks.

It is only worthwhile to purchase the No Expiration Option, if you know for certain that you will be returning to WDW within the next TWO YEARS.

If it is longer than that, more often than not tickets end up in a drawer never to be seen again. That's how the Company makes their money.

I'd go with a shorter ticket, you can always add days that will be prorated.

Thanks for the tip Mike. Not buying the no-expiry saves a chunk of change. It would probably be at least three years before returning and I don't really want the responsibility of wondering where the leftover passes are during that time.

I would go with the park hopper, that one is important and not too pricey. The no expiration to me is very pricey and probably not worth the extra money, althoguh you can determine that as you go. Add on features can be added at the resort as well as before you go for the same price. So you may want to see how many days/ options you have and make your determination then. Belle

No expiration is very pricey. I ended up getting my wife a 10 ten park hopper no expiration and it was 90 more than the expiration.
