I would love Tron in Tomorrowland, only if it were a unique iteration of the ride that fit better with our park.

There's a couple of reasons why I'm not keen on the idea.

1.) While I love Tron, unless it's the plan to officially brand Tomorrowland into Sci-Fi Land (which unofficially it already is with Buzz and Star Wars), I don't see people being digitized into their computers as a viable technology in the next several years....or ever, so I don't see how it fits in the world of tomorrow. Since automobiles and submarines aren't really futuristic anymore either, I"m not sure why they still call it Tomorrowland. It's what I dislike the most about the land.....it doesn't know what it is. Pick one and go with it. I'm good either way.

2.) I've never been a huge fan of cloning rides, which is why I don't want Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Disneyland either (that and I was underwhelmed the one time I rode it due to the overhype and 3 hour wait).

>Disneyland hopes to preserve and reuse as much of the iconic Adventureland sign as possible as work begins in the next few days on the entryway-widening project designed to improve pedestrian traffic flow at a notoriously crowded pinch point in the Anaheim theme park.

A building permit filed with the city of Anaheim called for the demolition of the existing Adventureland marquee and the installation of new sign and footings, according to public records. But the city demolition permit doesn’t mean the iconic sign will be “demolished.”

The new Adventureland sign will reuse as much of the current entry marquee as possible, Disneyland officials said.

The Adventureland archway sign won’t be gone for long. Disneyland plans to replace the 1990s marquee with a nearly identical sign that stretches all the way across the entry pathway. The goal: Complete the project before the May 31 grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.<<

Is this spin for "Save Money" and reuse as much as possible?

well it would make sense to re-use the sign, all they really need to do is re-enforce the main support that spans the walkway. They can still leave the small roofing since the main purpose is to remove the one odd vertical support on the east end

Tron also takes place in modern times rather than the future. And the films are laughably bad.
