If memory serves me correctly, NFPA recommends standard heads be tested or replaced at 50 years.

I did some research on this. There is no requirement to replace them, but for standard heads they need to be tested starting at 50 years and then every 10 years after that. Testing requires removing a sampling of them from the building and sending them to a lab for testing. Maybe they decided it made more sense just to replace them all instead of going through the testing process.

That is my understanding as well.

No idea which ones Disney uses, but the price on them is often well under $10/head. At that price, replacing them is often less expensive than testing them.

Orange County has made a little harder for me to pull permits. I use a program I developed to pull the data from their web site which makes it much easier then doing it all by hand. Recently they added a captcha (I am not a robot) check after you have made to many requests in a short period of time. I can pull around 5 PDFs before I get caught by this. I can deal with it, but it is annoying.
