Why cant it be sold at Disney, I know they have an agreement with Coke for the parks but surely they should give the lovers of the superior carbonated beverage the chance to enjoy the product somewhere on site.

I was thinking how to differentiate between the draught syrups and resort fridge based products. Coke like Disney is a nostalgia brand

Water under the bridge.. but there is all kinds of ways they could segment things. Making 'in the park' different from the rest of the property. Food Service vs Retail. etc. But Coke has a pretty far reaching setup with WDW that seems to cover all food service and soda retail products.

You can always bring your own pepsi products on property :)

One does, but its a pain in the jaxxi when you run out. When I go holiday shopping I try to stick to the essentials Tea n milk for the current Mrs Sak, and tequila and rita mix for me.

It all boils down to preference. My thoughts on the subject, and the opinion of many fellow countrymen is that Pepsi tastes like flat coke.... So, there you go. Also, are you trying to set a troll record? I see you make a declarative post above zebra domes and dole whips sucking and then complained about the "zealots" not allowing alcohol around the kiddies.

I can try to answer those. Never had zebra domes but love dole whips. The popularity of the zebra domes probably says more about our country's obesity rate and less about the taste. I have hit the Pepsi vs coke thing, google "why does Pepsi taste like flat coke" and post how many entries. As far as the zealots go, keep the faith. The 'zealots" have given up on keeping MK dry. I have been known to partake in alcohol from time to time. Jim Beam man myself. So i see no problem with drinking in 99.99% of the time. Just like i think self gratification (see what i did there? Kid friendly site and i watched my wording) is awesome/legal/ something that is best done away from kids. Why not tip one back the 51 other weeks when u are not in wdw?

Nothing like a large fountain Coke on ice when you're thirsty.

I mean, I'll buy a Pepsi in the same scenario with no other option, but it's never quite the same.

I'm not a big soda drinker at all, and much less so than I used to be. I don't know if I had a single Coke on our recent visit. I'll tell you this, though: if the parks served Pepsi products, I definitely wouldn't order any soda. They already have all the nation's ball parks. Isn't that enough? :p

That said, I don't know why Pepsi isn't a nostalgia brand like Coca-Cola and Disney are. Pepsi was "born" even before Walt was.

Soda makes me feel awful...especially in the heat. There is no way I could consume the amounts of soda I see people ingesting in the parks and actually walk around the rest of the day!

Coke is cheaper. Well, it was where I worked. I always assume that is why places that carry Coke products do so.

On my way to WDW, I always stopped at the store for cartons of Diet Pepsi.

Well, if I ever walk into the parks and see the Pepsi Challenge set up I will lay down on the spot and commence to kicking & screaming until it is taken away forever. I mean, really? Pepsi? Poopsi is saddest immitation of carbonated, over-sugar'd beverage in the whole wide world Disney included. Even if they moved the Coke dispensers to other locations, I'm taking issue NOW. There's no doubt the quality of the Coke in the parks has totally declined as the cost to obtain a sip has gone thru the roof. The cups aren't as bright as they once were. When I found bendy straws they were often defective. But you know, everywhere you go nowadays it's Pepsi all up in your face. I go to WDW to escape the Pepsi onslaught. If I was in a Disney park and Pepsi was there it would kill me. I'm going to Universal.

This is purely humor, folks. Let us all laugh a bit at ourselves. I don't even drink carbonated beverages because they swell me up instantly like a puffer fish. None of what I posted above is serious on any level. Drink water. It's better for you anyway. Have a magical day.

PEPSI! PEPSI! PEPSI!!

I am a Pepsi girl who lives outside Atlanta. Do you know how hard it is to get a Pepsi anywhere out at a restaurant here? Thankfully they do sell them at the stores, lol.

I wish Disney would make an agreement with Pepsi, that would be AWESOME!! (channeling my inner Rhino here.)

I would have said Irn Bru tops them all but since they have betrayed their Scottish heritage buy joining with Britvic, who whilst being owners of Pepsi are still employers of Walmart-esque proportion.

It leaves a Beverly like bitter taste in the mouth.
