PeopleMover at night

You MUST ride it at night on your next visit! There are several great views, particularly of the castle and water at night, along with the lights in TL. Whatever else is closed, DH and I are happy at MK if we can ride the TTA and CoP.

Its a great ride to take a break when the crowds are crazy because you can just get back in line and ride it over and over without usually too long of a wait. it's great to get out of the midday heat and it is pretty spectacular at night.
I have never gotten off when I wanted to ride again. When I get to the load station I just make a circular motion with my hand and the CM nods OK and I never move off. I've never seen it that busy at night that there was any reason to get off it.

BTW, I have also done that with SSE in the evening.

Would've been better when they added the LED Lighting package they installed a few years ago to be used.....But, nooooooooooooo they want to keep it the way it was...

I'm sure I've read the answer on here before but does anyone know why they didn't stick with the color changing lights?

We were riding one time and on the part of track where it faces the castle (right before "Entering Mickey's Star Traders" .. ), the castle Xmas lights suddenly lit up - magical!

Our favorite ride day or night! It's also usually our first and last ride. When we are exhausted after a long day but can't stand to leave the parks, we hop on the people mover and ride a few times and just soak up the night atmosphere. It's my son's favorite place to go to sleep after a long day and a great way to recharge before headed to the buses.

I have never beern much of a fan of Tomorrowland in general, until our last trip to WDW and our first experience of the people mover. We ended up riding it 5 or 6 times that trip. I now consider Tomorrowland one of my favorite places at WDW. Night time is spectacular and a great way to wind down.

You can actually experience more of the ride at night since your eyes don't have to adjust to the sunlight when exiting Space Mountain.

First post, long time reader of the forum!

I absolutely LOVE the PeopleMover, and I have no idea why. It just feels so slick and relaxing. I love the tour around Tomorrowland, especially the Space Mountain section then coming out and seeing the busy park.

Night time is extremely relaxing. I went last year with anxiety and stress issues due to work/moving house twice, and medical tests. Luckily it was all fine in the end, but I didn't know this on my trip. Peoplemover was one of the coolest most chilled rides I went on. Relaxing and barely any queue, if any.

My partner also loved it! I've been on it quite a few times previously, but it was great to see her face as we toured around on it.

We are back in Sept 2016 and it will be probably the FIRST ride in MK. Then at night! :)

Absolutely. If it's a high capacity attraction, quiet and the ride system allows it just politely ask the CM to ride again without unloading.

I also love this ride but feel like it's special at night. The warm breeze, the lit castle, resting my feet, the company, it all comes together.

I love how all the ride experiences change in day vs night, I want to make sure I experience every ride like this.

I would like to mute the dance party sometimes though. o_O
