I've also noticed this happening in the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co as more retail has taken space right as you exit from Space Mountain. I do believe it's the only place in MK that is an actual Arcade.
From my understanding, several of the "games" moved to the Main Street train station. Perhaps the rest of them are still in storage otherwise they are probably sold off.
I doubt that the Penny Arcade will re-open in its past incarnation. Even Disneyland's Penny Arcade gave up more space for merchandising in its past refurb, which leads me to believe that the powers-that-be are loathe to surrender more retail space for the sake of aesthetics and nostalgia.
virtual Tron ride like Sum of all thrills

See, now that's how to resurrect a thread!I own most of the old baseball, and rifle games from the Penney Arcade. They are alive and well, and operating in my Retro Arcade in Wildwood, NJ. It was my privilege to have worked for Main Street Operations when the Penny Arcade was still open, and it was my desire to preserve what I could. Disney still operated 1 or 2 at Casey's
Thanks, but sadly they don't show up for me.Hey gang,
I got some pictures of the Main Street Penny Arcade games which have made it up to Wildwood, NJ, at my Retro Arcade. Come play them this spring and summer ! Enjoy.

I'm not quite sure what the problem was there. Here are instructions on how to attach photos.Hey folks, not sure why the photos do not come through, unless the sight must first approve uploads.....?? Perhaps in a day or so??? Anyone who can't see can email me and I will send via email... how's that??

Let's see:Can you guess the other places on Main Street ???
That's not the hub? Looks like you are standing behind the stage in front of the Castle, with the camera facing the hub...Very good !!! Almost perfect !
I thought the Walt Disney Story shots would fool most; the beautiful character mural was still covered by a false wall from the conversion to the Epcot Preview Center, which was at the Disney Story location a few years prior.
Later, the false wall was removed to again expose the Character Mural !
The answer for the shot at Casey's Corner is technically correct, however, Casey's Corner had not been created at this point, and it was still Refreshment Corner, aka, Coke Corner....
And you got fooled on the guess of the parade hub.....
Guess that one again !!!!
I was a complete sucker for the Walt Disney Story, either as that or as the EPCOT Preview Center.Very good !!! Almost perfect !
