Paying Homage

I wish I took a picture of it when I was there. I was on the bridge, looking around, and voila there it was!

I really wish they would just build Beastly Kingdom somewhere on the property. HP has practically taken over all Beastly Kingdom-esque aspects at IOA, so Disney could start from scratch, or go back to the original ideas.
Ill have to look in my 2012 photos, and i think i got one of it.

So has anyone seen any references to the Backlot Tour in Toy Story Land?

I haven't heard of anything but even where Slinky's Station is where the Earfile Tower stood and I don't think they even acknowledge it at all and that's a shame not even anything for LMA (But, did anyone honestly care about that show)..

But, as I mentioned before on the other page I do hope there is at least cans or a sign hidden for the Mohave Oil Company that worked among Catastrophy Canyon within Galaxy's Edge...

OMG how did I already forget about the Earful Tower? Yes the Mouse has to pay homage to it at the least! If LMA gets shafted I honestly don't care but the Backlot Tour, Catastrophe Canyon and the Tower should all at least be given a nod.

I agree that LMA has no need to be acknowledged. It didn't get there until 2005 and was part of the DL 50th celebration, however, any tribute to either the canyon or the tower would cover the backlot tribute as well. I would think that the tower would be my choice, but, that could be seen from anywhere in the park, so it doesn't need to be in a tribute to backlot. That leaves the canyon which was only seen if you took the tour, so... that would be the logical choice.

Well Catastrophe Canyon was located were SWGE is so I think the placement to its memory should be back there where as the Tower was in TSL so maybe somewhere near the entrance off Mickey Ave would be the best for it to be incorporated.

It is closer to the canyon area, but, if I remember the location it isn't really in either land and kind of fell in between the two. Doesn't matter though, if the do one it will be where ever they want it to be. I think that some of the maintenance buildings are much closer to the location then either of the lands.
