Pastry Question

Is there any place on property to get really good Cannoli? It's sorta a favourite of myself and my family. Any help would be appreciated.

Ouch. I know they sell cannolis in Italy at the World Showcase, but I live in New York City and the only cannolis that go in my mouth come from Veniero's in the Lower East Side. (Yes, they will deliver to Kentucky. Check out http://www.venierospastry.com/ for details.) I can, however, recommend the Peroni beer in Italy to help your cannoli go down. Wonderful!

I have to agree, there is just something about a nice, freshly filled cannoli. :slurp:

What about the Boardwalk Bakery? They do all sorts of pastries.

I usually dont get them when I am in the World though. Last May when I went to Disney, I did stop in Italy and had a concoction of champagne and peach nectar called Bellini at one of the outside booths! YUM!!!!! Belle

Oh! The bellini, the mimosa's sweet little sister. I'll ocassionally have one with brunch here in the city. They're terriffic. I'll have to try that instead of a glass of red the next time I'm drinking around the World.

Unfortunately, the South Beach Diet will probably keep me from enjoying some of the pastries. I will reserve my carb splurges for other things - Dole Whips and maybe a churro.
