Passport Stamping??

Hi folks :wave:

Is it true you can give in your passport when you board and it will be stamped in every port??

Do you need to pick it up at every port to get off or can you use photo copies??

I've not heard of that before, just the items to have signed by characters. Anyone know? I've been curious about passport stamps. Tracey's old passport from when he was a kid has a few stamps & it's a cool little keepsake from his trip abroad.

If a cruise a closed loop (begins and ends at the same port) then your passport will almost always not be stamped.

I've never heard that before. I know there are government buildings in just about every port where you can go to get them stamped. That's harder than it sounds though. We tried in Tortola and couldn't find it.

I read it too before but I don't recall where I read it. I saw it before our Med cruise this summer and forgot to ask further. Turns out I don't know how this would work since we needed our actual passports on hand at many of the ports of call. Kinda makes it impossible to follow the bad advice to leave passports with guest services.
