Called about my trip for December and found out it was $400 cheaper to use the free dining pin code I received than the AP discount. DH likes the dining plan, so the pin code made it cheaper. I was hoping the AP discount would have been better. Oh well, we are still going to Disney and going to celebrate our honeymoon.:sohappy:

The AP rates can be better depending on your party mix of people going and what resort you are staying at. Each case is unique and must be worked out individually. I have done this and had it work out better both ways, depending on those factors for different clients. This is a great reason to contact your favorite Konsultant, We can evaluate your situation, present you with all of your options and help book you for a great Disney trip, all for no charge to you!!! So, my super-awesome passholder 40% off pin code that I got last winter suddenly isn't so awesome. I priced our December trip out with the passholder code that was released today, and it was... exactly the same. Oh, well.

This was certainly the case in my situation. With just 2 of us, it worked out better to use pin code. If it wasn't for the dining plan, the AP discount would have definitely been better. But in either case, I was glad to get a discount.:)

We have the same pin and it was still awesome. With the pin we had 7 nights at the BC for $200/night. With the AP discount it was $234/night. Doesn't seem like much, but when you do the math we saved over $260 with the pin! This code seems very dependant on the resort and the dates.

You are exactly right. After plugging in our dates and resort (WL Club Level), I got the exact same price on the passholder site as I did with our 40% off pin. But then I tried some other resorts (Poly and GF) as I had also priced those with the pin code, and the passholder rate was considerably more $. Either way, our cost is the same so no need to call and switch codes on our ressie. It is definitely worth the time to check, though.

We stumbled into a good discount! BoardWalk Club Level went from 525/night to 244/night....that was an amazing surprise.

Call and check it never hurts.
