Party of five questions

No this is not about the tv show. I am heading down in a couple of weeks and it is myself, wife, and 2 daughters (5&8) along with my mom. To all the experts out there will rides be a big issue with seating? We are fine with a 2/3 split but I don't want someone having to ride by themselves all the time. I know the roller coasters is only two seats but my mom won't be going on those. I was thinking more along the lines of Peter pan, small world, haunted mansion and rides like that. Thanks for the help!!

Depending on how big the five year old is, you'll probably be allowed to squeeze 3 in one of the cars. I know they let us do that for Haunted Mansion when we were 5. You should be ok for Pooh (although it'll be tight depending on all of your sizes). Peter Pan they may make your ride alone as a safety precaution since it goes up in the air. Small World you'll be fine as the seats are big. You'll also be fine on the Seas with Nemo and friends although again it might be tight depending on sides. Besides the roller coasters the only ones you'll likely have a problem with are Buzz Lightyear and TSM (since they each only have 2 "game consoles" per chair), and possibly any of the Dumbo like rides, and spaceship earth. Just ask a CM at the ride if you're unsure. Hope that helps!! Have a great trip!!

I'm the same, we have a party of 5 also, first time I'm taking my boyfriend as well as it just been the 4 members of my family. I wish we had the luxury option of squeezing together on attractions! Im also curious about ride vehicles because I would like some ride photos of us all and not sure we can with the 2,2,1 formation!! Also because it's an odd number am thinking about the resteraunts, I wonder if they put you on a bigger table which may be harder to Book an ADR last min!?

I'm a normal sized 25-year-old girl and I've squeezed into Peter Pan's Flight, Haunted Mansion, and Nemo with 2 other people (a guy and a girl) recently, so it can definitely be done! It all depends on the size of the individuals of course. But in your situation it sounds do-able. I've also sat 3 to a row on Splash Mountain but I honestly don't recommend that, haha. The only ones I can think of that could be a problem would be Toy Story Mania, Spaceship Earth, and Buzz Lightyear.

I have done party of 5 a few times and there's not many rides that only seat two! Toy Story and Buzz only sit two b/c of the shooters. I'm not sure how Splash works now with the new lap bars but in the past you could sit two adults and a child. I'm usually the one sitting alone (for whatever reason) and I can tell you on one hand the number of times it happened. I guess it would depend on the size of the other two adults and whether you're comfortable squeezed in with a kid.

BTW, I've done 4 on Peter Pan - two adults, two kids and we were fine.

Peter Pan has 3 rows, so you should be ok. We just got back and was a party of 5. You should all be in the same row for Small world. Depending on how big your kids are, you may be able to have the smaller child sit on your lap for BLYSRP, TSMM, HM etc. Thats what we did and we were fine. My youngest is only 3.
