Members of my gf's family have just come back from a 2 week stay in orlando, they stayed off site and they said thats for the first time evre that they had to pay to park at TL,I think they said it was around $11 but that was for a avarage car.
As me and my gf and 8 other members are going in 5 weeks time what are the parking prices this year for each of the parks as we staying off site, oh we have hired a 12 seater mini van if that makes a difference.Hopefully someone out there can help me:)

As long as it will fit in a standard parking place, which I am pretty sure it will, you should still only have to pay $11. Depending on your length of stay you might want to consider getting 1 annual pass. This will make parking free regardless of what you are driving and will also open up the opportunity for you to get a DDE (Disney dining experience) card which will give you a 20% discount at nearly all table service restaurants and few of the counter service ones for you and up to 9 people. The free parking and the 20% discount of dining could easily save you the price of a single AP if you stay long enough.

I get a little irritated by the parking prices. When we went last year it was $10, that is a lot just to park there. And is it going to just keep going up a dollar a year? I understand though that EVERYTHING in our country is going up, I just wish Disney parking wasn't one of them.

Hey that sounds great but seeing as we only get to go once a year do you think that we would still be able to get one.Where would i find the information for the annual pass?

Sure. You could buy an annual pass and only go one day and Disney would not mind. The cost of a non Florida resident AP is $477.12. The cost of the DDE card would be $60 and both can be purchased on line or at any ticket window at the parks or guest services at DTD.

Here is a link to all the AP information you will ever need as well as a link to the DDE information.

Annual pass
DDE

With a little bit of planning you could also make your AP and DDE card work for 2 trips,

14 days both.we aint decided where to stay next year though. We both fancied staying on site but looking at the prices it could be too much seeing as we're going to texas in april.
All you would need to do is offset your 2 trips buy at least 14 days and you could fit 2 trips in on one AP. For example if you went from 1/15/09-1/29/09 your 2010 trip would need to be 1/1/10-1/15/10 or earlier. When you plan that way an AP really starts to save you money not to mention the other benefits such as room discounts, shopping discounts etc.

Well my auntie has just come back and she had to pay $11 to park at both TL and BB ive seen the passes to prove it!.... anyone on here who works there who could verify this for us? x
This would have to be a very recent development and I am surprised that if it is indeed the case that we have not heard about it until now. When the parking rate went from $10 to $11 last year you would have thought the world was coming to an end. I can not imagine the water parks going from $0 to $11 generating any less of a response.

I agree with what your saying but wether it was a one off to maybe keep the park numbers down or it has come in the last 3 to 4 weeks but the fact is that disney did charge $11 dollars and i think it sucks cnsidering it was nothing in june.

I got this from all ears.net

http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/parking.htm

The only thing I see different is SOG parking is 10$/per day as of last July
I to have been trying to track down conformation on this. Every web site says that it is free. Of course Disney's official site has absolutely no information on the subject.:brick:

It has been a few months since I have been to TL and there was not even a kiosk for a parking attendant there and no permits have been filed for one to be built. I am actually starting to wonder if some incredibly brave scam artist has hit up a few unsuspecting tourists for an $11 parking fee at TL.
