for those of you that go in the oct - dec months i was just woundering if the shorter park hours effect the amount of things that you get done or if it really doesn't make that big of a difference. I know they have the entended park hours for people staying on property which we are. Thank You!

We've been in late August and in late September, and even the difference in park hours for those dates has a big effect on how much we could do each day.

Generally the shorter park hours mean smaller crowds.
You can get more done in a shorter amount of total time because the wait times are shorter.
If you take advantage of morning Extra Magic Hours and are at the parks when they open, it's even better.

Never go to WDW in July.
Avoid early August and late June, too, if possible.

IMHO

We always go in november when the park hours are early, and have never had problems. Since we're staying at POFQ this week, we will be taking the boat over to DTD most of our evenings, or do the evening EMH. I love DTD at night and I love just being able to relax, shop and just have a meal somewhere. The crowds are also much lighter so we can get everything done with short wait times and do things more than once at each park.

We leave Sunday for the World yay!!!!! :D:D:D

We always go in October and December.....

It seems like one park is always open until at least 11...

and on the rare occasion its not...we go to DTD and shop or go back to the hotel and go to the arcade or go swimming....

I always go in September or October and never have a problem with getting enough time in the parks. This time of year the lines are typically short enough it's not a problem. I just got back a few weeks ago and we had enough time to see everything we wanted including going back to the resort we were staying at and swim for an hour or two. You won't have any problems, just have fun.
