park hopper upgrade to p.h. PLUS ?

Is it possible to upgrade a the remaining/unused 2 days (out of 4) of a park hopper ticket to a park hopper plus?

We are going again in a few weeks, and have 2 days left, but would like to go to typhoon lagoon, and other water parks, maybe, but wanted to upgrade the ticket if available.

You will most likely have to purchase a new Pass. They will take the remaining days you have and put it toward the purchase of the new pass, but you won't be able to get anything but a full Park Hopper Plus.

DisneyInsider is correct. If you take your current ticket to guest relations they will credit you the amount of days left on that ticker and put it toward the purchase of a park hopper plus ticket. It's a pretty painless process.
