A few things along this topic...
This has always been a controversial issue. Some of us think it's not so bad these days, and some of us think the place is falling apart. (That's why I love these forums!) I tend to lean towards the latter. It always saddens me to see the inside of IASW being in such sad shape. I'm glad its finally getting rehabbed, but it should have happened years ago. I notice the rust and mildew, the dying bushes and trees, the peeling paint. I think the biggest thing with me is that Walt would never stand for this. I truly feel that his vision should continue on, and sadly, today it does not. This is why I support Roy's campaign for change! The Disney company is held to such a high standard in today's world, and I wish it would rise to the challenge again...
Oh, and I hate seeing the cast members getting defensive about the state of the parks. You weren't there 20 years ago, so you can't relate to the situation now. I was, and I hate seeing the things I see. I just want Eisner, or hopefully his replacement, to throw some serious money back into the parks to bring them back up to the standards that Walt set down so many years ago...
Sorry for the long rant, but I feel very passionate on this issue!
