Pandora - The World of Avatar opening day reports

I hate people who do that. It's not fair to the resort guests who got stuck waiting in Oasis trying to get in.
They actually had resort reservations but canceled last minute. A CM allowed them to use that reservation number to gain entry. Can't blame guests for trying on a day like today. Blame the CMs for not confirming I guess.

Seeing these wait times and capacity issues, the more I think Disney has screwed up on Star Wars Land. I think they should have axed Toy Story and had either another ride or more open space to reduce crowding. I mean I get Toy Story is for the kids, but I have no idea how Disney is going to handle capacity especially for guests staying off-site.

No, you can blame guests for trying, ESPECIALLY on a day like this. The CM's are already stressed to the max and your friends took advantage of the situation knowing they weren't entitled to the privilege regardless if the CM allowed it or not. If someone lets you steal, it doesn't make it right and they stole two places from legitimate on-site guests.

My wife and I had reservations for this weekend and decided not to go. I would never try to use that confirmation number to gain access to EMH. People who do things like this are why a lot of the little magical things at Disney have gone away. It cheating the system, no matter how you try to justify it or spin it.

Guessing extreme crowding will pass this weekend. Anyone have an experience of having to wait to get into the land even though they have fast passes?

There has to be more to that. If they had a magicband it would have come up as canceled or not valid as a resort guest when it was scanned. Something tells me all they had was a number on a piece of paper, which is cheeky, but also shame on the CM for just letting them in with that.

I'm sure they weren't the only guests who will do something similar on a day like today. I've seen plenty of people who abuse the system worse. They also flew all the way from LA to be here this weekend.

They didn't use the band. They showed them a reservation email on their phone. And the CM actually asked them when they walked up "Do you have a resort reservation?" So, technically they didn't lie because they did. The CM should've turned them away but even they were shocked when they were allowed access. They thought they would give it a try and knew they had very little chance of gaining entry but to their surprise, the CM didn't care I guess.

It's the first day. The line for Frozen Ever After was 350 minutes on opening day. Now the line fits in the building everyday typically.
